One of the most important pieces of information any trader uses is the current trend of an asset. As a standard, traders generally use moving averages or a combination of them to detect such trends. However, it can be difficult to determine which moving averages are relevant for different timeframes.
This indicator solves that problem by going two steps further. First, it incorporates volume into the moving averages so that trends are more representative of how market participants are behaving over all. Second, it uses a fractal mathematical pattern to determine the optimal periods for each average.
